While researching the history of the number PI, the pupils became aware that there was an “Association of Friends of the Number Pi”. To be able to enter this club you have to be able to recite the first 100 numbers of the number Pi by heart. This gave us the idea of running a competition in school. Who can recite most of the numbers in the first 100 decimal places by heart? In addition, we glued the first 100 decimal places on the stairway to the first floor. This gave rise to a dynamic of its own, in which a large number of students dealt with the number of pi in a very enjoyable way.
